so, the last post was actually written a good 5 months ago but just never got uploaded! I was just going to delete it but thought what the heck it was written and included a nice wee review so up it went!
but when I stated it included an update it was actually nothing of the sort!
so much has happened in the past few months, summary of which;
I got married!
I moved to London!
I started a new job!
I had the corrective surgery on my eye!
the last of which only took place last Tuesday, so I will do a proper blog post on that experience as I continue through the healing process.
Hopefully get into blogging more frequently over the next while!
but for now, here's a little snap from Nick and I's wedding day 💗

update and some lush!
so, first things first.
my eye wasn't healed enough from the original surgery so the doctor was not happy to do the botulinum injection at this stage. My surgeon says that the misalignment with my eye is so slight that he doesn't think I should get the injection anyway. Regardless of the decision I end up making, I have to wait another couple of months at least - to allow the eye to heal fully first.
so, that's that for now. Onto some more fun things! namely, Lush!!!
I have been trying to be kinder to my hair, so have been on the look out for some new products. After seeing a few people speaking and blogging about lush hair products I decided to give them a go.
I went for 'I love Juicy' shampoo and 'veganese' conditioner.
I bought a small bottle of the I love juicy as it was half price and I got a rather large (the sales assistant must have been in a good mood) sample of the veganese conditioner.
They are both very strong smelling. On the bottle 'I love juicy' states that it contains papaya, kiwi and pineapple - but I must say, that to my nose at least, it really doesn't smell of any of these! it does have a really nice smell, but I personally think it smells more floral than fruity.
'veganese' on the other hand, states that it contains lemon amongst other ingredients and it definitely does smell of Lemon. Actually, when I let my dad smell it he said it reminded him of furniture polish. He's a tough critic, and not really a hair care expert considering he is bald. :) love u dad!
But regardless, they both have nice scents which linger in your hair for the rest of the day after washing :)
love,
